Hi!
I’m newish to the saltwater community and very new to the reef aquarium hobby. I’ve kept freshwater aquariums for about 30 ish years and decided to dive headfirst into a mixed reef aquarium. I’ve converted mt 240 gallon freshwater aquarium into a (hopefully) mixed reef aquarium. I will have approximately 200lbs of live rock and 200lbs of live sand in it. I started the process at the beginning of the year and am about to get the real live rock and live sand tomorrow! I have a few fish (2 clowns, 2 pajama cardinals, 1 rabbitfish, 1 lawnmower blenny) in a 40 breeder waiting for the cycle to complete. I do have a few corals, but I’m not at all confidant in them. They are in the 40 breeder as well, but as this is my first jump into corals, it’ll be a journey to keep them alive. Anyway, looking forward to having a blast, and staying alive while I spend money and explain why i need the latest gadget!

This is tonight’s picture with the lights on. Since it’s cycling, i don’t turn them on very long but I have to sit and look at it sometime! It came out bluer than I expected (I have to get used to taking pictures with the blue tint to the lights).
I should get the last ~50lbs of live rock and 200lbs of sand tomorrow. Thinking about pushing the left side back and more diagonal and the right. “Dragon Throne “ (As my 11 year old Daughter calls it) more into the corner to open up the space for more of the arriving rock.
