All other parameters are perfect. Is this high? Hard for me to pinpoint.

In a cycled tank it would be of concern. There shouldn't be any.

Is total amonia nh3 nh4 or does this measure free amonia only? .6ppm total amonia is very low almost no free amonia, the bad stuff. While .6 ppm free amonia would be quite toxic and be concerning.

Let me check real quick, this is a cycled tank. It’s been cycled 3 weeks now, with diatoms first appearing in the past few days. Everything else is perfect and salinity has been a consistent 1.026. nitrites we’re up last week but are finally at 0.

Different charts for fresh/salt? I know these are dumb questions
If I’m not mistaken the api saltwater test kit identification cards say salt and freshwater
Using the same colour chart for both .

no matter what either it’s a testing error or there is ammonia in the system . Both warrant retesting with a reliable test kit .
