Thanks for sharing your results. How is your tank currently looking? a few things I noticed..

1) The mag looks a little low at 1306. Are you getting this up?
2)Potassium is on the lower side i would suggest getting this up as well.
3)Strontium look good its a little high at 13. Are you doing this specifically how did it get to 13?
4)Molybdenum is low at 6.437. I would suggest getting this up to 12. You can buy the ICP suppliment for this and follow the ICP dosing Suggestion on the triton test.
5)Iodine is very very high over 120. IMO anything over 90 and it can hurt corals. Have you had any RTN Recently and how long has this been this high? when is the last time you did a triton test before this? are you dosing Iodine? how did it get so high?
6) your Barium is high how did it get this high?
7) Silicon is also high..

what are you dosing? are you dosing any all for one supplements like red sea ABCD ? or are you doing them individually?

I’ve heard other reefers use it too because It’s lower nutrient released into the water. I’ve heard. I haven’t done any scientific research myself

I am also not sure how this works. but here is a link from Benepets that talks about it lowering po4. I must say it does lower my po4.. we Test po4 non stop and see the next day and day after feeding the po4 comes down

looks like Trion ICP is finally very fast again and the usa lab is fixed. We sent in some results last tuesday and got them back Saturday night!

has anybody found a good test kit for Iodine? we are still trying to find one and relying on Triton ICP for Testing Iodine..

I just changed the reagent on my trident this morning. That does my daily testing for me. And I’ll double check it periodically.
Also did a water change with instant ocean purple box and dosed trace elements from Red Sea… it was a busy morning

Hey thanks for your support. We test for everything on the ICP and usually follow the recommended dosing from the test results. Do you send in an ICP test kit?

the things we look for and currently following is

Iodine which we target 90
Molybdenum which we target 12
Strontium which we target 12

but we closely follow all other elements to make sure they are in range per the ICP

What are you using potassium chloride for?

we use it as the best Acro Dip. We use 2 Tablespoons per gallon for 10 minutes . The AEFW melt off within 2 minutes and its super safe for coral.

We dip our corals every 2 weeks with this stuff and the corals always look better with more PE after...

we have left coral in the drop by accident for 40 minutes and the corals still did not die. We also use this for torches, Goni, and all corals. All corals love it. They love taking a bath
