hey guys, another leason learned this week in the wonderful world of reefing. I have a few sps frags, one green birdsnest, one purple stylo, and one no name acro. I recently had an explosion of growth and as a result i had started dosing a lot of 2 part. I totally forgot to check salinity for a little over a week and it shot up to about 39 ppt. My tank is only 20 gal and it was a bit on the higher side to begin with. Well i brought it down slowly this weekend while trying to keep everything else in check. My beloved birdsnest and stylo have lost some polyps but were looking better today. The acro seems unphased! My lps and softies are coming around as well. Is there a chance the birdsnest and stylo can recover from the tissue loss? Its not terrible but they deffinitely look stressed. On a side note the birdsnest and stylo had been in the tank much longer than the acro, is it possible the birdsnest and stylo took it harder than the acro because they were well established in my tank? Do i try and frag my frags to save them or should i just keep steady and hold everything as stable as possible and wait it out? Thanks!
