Hitch hicker identification

Brown star polyps grow in strings. I've peeled the strings of polyps right off substrates no problem. If you don't get it all it will grow back. Another option is to dab superglue over the unwanted polyps.

I don't know if this is brown star polyps, could be a type of clove or anthelia/xenia. Still very small, but all are potential invasive to a tank and certainly to that little Zoa plug. So for the health of that zoa plug I would do your best in removing them.

I wish mine would!! I'm getting there though!
