I've just asked for gift cards to LFS because my wife wouldn't know what to get. She says its not right just getting gift cards or money, i have to open a present. One year she got me a mandarin to go in my tank that had only been up for a week and it wasn't eating frozen foods. I knew she had an eye for them and had been telling her once I had a tank up for a while and I would have to make sure it was eating frozen. This year I made out a list of some dry goods I needed (RO filters etc) with the item numbers and prices for a couple online stores. Needless to say I got nothing fish related, not a single thing I had on the list I gave her. I've decided next year I'm not even going to bother making a list.

My family got me a nice little coral fragging kit and frag plugs.
I always talk about the importance of aquaculture and propagation, well now its time for me to walk the walk.
I am excited to start and was quite impressed with how my family knew what to buy.
So, hopefully it is the gift that allows me to have the ability to keep on giving
