Even better!

I’m going to plasty dip mine. If I don’t like it gone. And redo. Will stain it just for natural incase. But peel coats are protection and flexible.

Does the sump have to be at the opposite end to the weir or can you change the cabinet to have the sump directly under the weir?

Installed some leds inside the cabinet.

I’m just waiting for plastic hinges and push open mechanisms to arrive

GREAT WORK! Wasn't too hard and turned out great, right?

I’m really pleased with the result thanks but I did find it quite challenging. It would have been much easier if the tank was new, empty and flat packed. I had to do a lot of restoration work on mine before I could wrap it. I had a lot of rusted fixtures I had to drill or smash to remove and then had to restore with wood filler and primer before wrapping in situ. It was totally worth the effort though.

How’s yours progressing? And sign of water yet?

Great looking tank! Can't wait to see this full! I just snagged one of these myself, tagging along

You are right, with all the work you put into it, it was worth it! You did a great job bro. As for me, it's going to be a while before it's filled with water. I'm taking it slow due to a new arrival of my second child. I will post new updates as the tank progress though.

It's designed to be the opposite, especially with the stock plumbing.

Nice job mate! Very impressed. How did you manage to do up the borders for your sump?

First wrap the Red vinyl on fully. Next is cut the white vinyl to the shape you want and then put it on the sump.
