What kind of vinyl are you using? The water adhesive type or the stick on kind with the use of a heating element?

Awesome attention to detail bro. You’re giving me some ideas. Where do you get that vinyl from and how did you wrap your plumbing with it? Was it one continuous wrap until you covered the whole pipe or was it one wrap at a time?

Thanks for the compliment. It's a fun project, slow, yet rewarding. I bought the carbon fiber in red and white from Amazon. Here's the link (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L9J7MRU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) As for the plumbing, I just wrapped the pipe to where it covers full circle and then I use an knife to trim off the edges.

If you noticed the red vinyl is taped first. Then the white vinyl is overlay. It's precut before applying to sump, won't dare cutting it on the glass.

Being that it’s a stick on do you think the drain area that will be submerged in saltwater will be able to withstand it?

For that part, I only wrapped the top part of the pipe. See pic.

Decided to add separate led strip to the bottom of the tank. Any combination light I want or set to random to change every 5 min. All controlled from my phone. This is my Fast & Furious Tank Edition.
