I will ask to see corals under whites. Most knowledgeable LFS owners will know why your asking, and will be more then happy to oblige. If an LFS is trying to be shady, they will not oblige, and I walk away. I have been in nearly every reef shop(least what my google shui can find) in the NY, CT, VT, MA, PA area, and have only been turned down a handful of times.

Sometime it can be too much work for LFS to go back to turn it off and on especially when there are other customers with different wants and needs. I think bringing your own flashlight is best iMO

I have 3 holy grails two which look like that and my one from WWC is a no doubter so techincally people can get hgs whole sale and it’s becoming a variant but my hg Fromm WWC with lineage knock the other variants out of the water but don’t get me wrong there are some Variants that look great hope it helps some people do say that the ones I bought will get better but the WWC one never had an issue of needing to get better

People attach what ever name they can come up with in an effort to raise prices. Would a rose by any other name not smell as sweet? Buy what you like, don't get focused on names. If you feel the price is too high, it probably is.

I don't want to throw out any names but there is a particular torch I'm interested in from a specific vendor. I've been looking for a grail for a while. So I found a grail at a reasonable price but I'm not sure it's a grail. I've never heard of a dark holy grail myself. But then again names are so confusing right now. It looks alot like a dragon tamer torch to me but this vendor is calling it a dark grail.

HG is a pretty vague term now, all sorts of vendors use it for what seems to be any exceptional indo gold/green torch strain.

My question is it even a holy grail at all. I purchased a 24k indo torch a few months ago. It turned out to be a NY Knicks torch because I didn't ask questions before I purchased it. If I would have known it was a NY Knicks even though the vendor said it was 24k indo torch I would have passed.
