Yes Jason is a good guy. He may come off abrasive to some but if yoh had to deal with woodlandnites being jerks all the time most people would come off abrasive. I stop in there at lunch some days and just pic his brain he is old school reefer doesn't believe in fancy but can help in many waysHuh, that place is open? In my ventures in looking for a LFS near the Kingwood area I drove to their place a couple months back and it looked like it was shut down. I landed on a place named FJW off of 290 n 610. Good place with helpful peeps and nice stock. Welcome!!!

I'm in Pearland. New to this site started my saltwater reef tank in Decemberwhat reefers are in the Houston area

I go to a place called FJW. They seem pretty straight forward. Nice coral. Also a place called something ocean. I’ll look it up and post it.Hello! I have a friend that is heading Houston next week and want to see if he can bring a couple of corals. He specifically is going to be on the 77098 area if you know any LFS. I am new to R2R and have a 7 months 50 gal tank![]()
I have taken a look on the FJW. Saw some gorgeous rock flower anemones that may do me some good. Thank god I'm not the one going there I'd go crazy.I go to a place called FJW. They seem pretty straight forward. Nice coral. Also a place called something ocean. I’ll look it up and post it.
edit: oceanlife aquariums. They got a beautiful rainbow monti that Ima get soon as my monti recovers.
You're right, I have looked for some rainbow montis on Google and found a lot of precious color. I don't think we are get to see that on this picture but I bet it is incredible.

I’d say it really depends on your taste, both do really good with their up keep of tanks and equipment and their prices are within each other. I’ve also been to galactic coral and their selection is nice but limited. All 3 are nice places. 3 different areas of Houston so that might dictate which one you go to depending on where in the city you stay. You're right, I have looked for some rainbow montis on Google and found a lot of precious color. In your opinion, which of both have the most beautiful corals and which one do you consider to have better prices? I know it's a tight spot beauty vs price and variety but just try![]()
Well, I am more of a LPS's fan. Have a couple of stylophoras and 2 montis so it wouldn't do me bad to get a rainbow lolI’d say it really depends on your taste, both do really good with their up keep of tanks and equipment and their prices are within each other. He is around 77098, don't want to take too much of his time. FJW, Ocean life and Galactic are all like 15 minutes away.
I will contact them and ask them who has a rock flower anemone and will take that one. That's what I am looking for right now. Maybe an LPS too
