How do I Bean Animal?

I just looked at it, interesting. Is that suppose to support full siphon, and how would you do partial siphon then?
Im not 100% on how good they are at full siphon. I personally used them on my 220 drilled a few years ago to replace the stock piping. they worked well on that setup.
I sold them with the tank and im thinking about picking up a couple more since I ordered this same overflow for my next upgrade. I think these would be related to the herbie overflow style. they have a breather hole in the top bump thingy.

So I was looking at the paper/instructions that came with my modular marine overflow and I think it said you could trim the bulkhead off to allow more room in the box I would mark where the nut is tightened down then remove bulkhead and cut it leaving 3-4 threads past the nut. idk seems the be the cheapest way I would think that way you can use the 2 90s

Hmm I didn't get any instructions with my overflow, or maybe I did actually and tossed them....oops. Okay, that seems to make sense, I'll go check that out right now, thank you.

Just did a rough dry fit, and seems like I would have to cut the extra threads all the way down, to where there wouldn't be any left. I can try a better fit later.

Did you get this figured out yet? I just got a Modular Marine overflow. Not sure how I'm going to plumb it for bean animal yet. May have to improvise... they are a tad too small for the traditional bean plumbing.

Just wondering is anyone got their Modular Marine overflow plumbed in? I'm working on mine now and having some spacing issues.

I do believe Jake got it all figured out after a lot of playing around

Either of you guys got build threads?
I do not...will make one eventually. Just took this shot of the tank...

Stunning... worth every plumbing issue you've been through I bet, BUT still going to need that build thread;)

Sorry for the late reply. I found “U”s in plumbing at Home Depot, fit perfectly without having to cut anything. Really doesn’t matter as long as your emergency is the middle
