I do have a tamini tang and a number of blue-leg hermit crabs. For right now i pull out what I can and scrape them off. Fortunately I have most of my corals on frag rocks. They are spreading.i'm curious as to what they are b/c i have them too. I think they are kind of cool looking. One or more of my tank inhabitants eats it up all the time though. My guess is either tang, crabs or lawnmower blenny -- most likely the tang.

Don't want to spoil the party but maybe by cleaning your Tunze
It might have a longer lifespan too by doing so.
Me for a fact will clean every wave pump in my tank every month.
As I have 3 of MP40QD I just swap out the wet sides as I have 3 of those too.
Just takes me 3min to do so.
Thanks: I'm out of luck according to the article. Joes juice was mentioned, sound dangerous so I'll look in to it. No known predators. My infestation stated when my PO4 was <.1ppm .nope, quick research says same. Worse than green valonia.
heres one take on it. FWIW.

A little favor if I may ask. would you happen to have a link to the peroxide method as it applies. I would really appreciate the effort. I know of a devise that uses 3-6% peroxide in it to eliminate nusense algae. I have some areas would require extreme measures to remove these guys. Idea: maybe fill a syringe with peroxide and target bladder where it is located in the tank and when possible out of the tank.Yea check it out. The articles say that ULNS are a higher target for them.
I'd pull each piece if can an try the peroxide method ph balanced RODI plus scrub. It'll blow up the cells and burn them. It works well on green bubble.
Won't mess with the cycle of the rock. Weaken it slightly in my observation but hardly noticeable to most.
Yea check the pest algae challenge. search or even contact Twillard.. Oh wait. He would love this @twilliardA little favor if I may ask. would you happen to have a link to the peroxide method as it applies. I would really appreciate the effort.
