How do u cycle ur new tank ?

I used smart start for all my tanks

Live rock, live sand and live water to start. 2-3 weeks later had a slight spike I wasn't sure if it cycled so in went the clean up crew. 8 weeks later doing great!

Live water? I have never hear of such a thing as the bacteria lives on the rock... thus live rock. Are you talking about bacteria doses?

Pretty much it's got more of the good bacteria then just salt crystals and water that they make at the LFS. I can't remember the brand though.

Ive used dr tims before with great results and they used to have ammonia that would bring your tank up so juch per drop... but I don't see it on their site anymore

yes. Depends on how many gallons your tank is. Theres different bottle sizes. Its 1 bottle per 50 gallon. The more the better.

I use a dozen live shrimp from the bait shop . after cycle whats left alive I use for bait to catch fish in the ocean .
