I wish I had a cool super power like being a Nurse but alas I don't - although I did four years of consulting so my better half could quit her job and get her BSN and fulfill her dream of being a Nurse. Budget is how I support the hobby with two in college. With my recent upgrade it was all about tough choices and robbing Peter to pay Paul. For example I really wanted to use TBS rock but what I needed vs. cost I ended up going with dry Pukani. The money saved went to other areas of the tank so it balances out. Sure I regret not having the rock but in a year will I know the difference? In any case you get the idea.
Funny how we all say patience is key in this hobby. It is. Watching that new dry rock mature or small piece of coral grow is like watching paint dry, right? A year from now I'm sure I will be singing a different tune though.
)So if you need a 22 yo Dominican partner you know how to reach me.Actually working on the "new projects" department of an investment company settled in Dominican Republic. Soon will be focused on international sales and I'm planning to bring those big brands of aquarium-related products to Dominican Republic. Not a huge experience, just 22 years old...
Where do I sign up![emoji15]Blood money, literally. We have a facility by us called biolife, and you can earn up to 70 bucks a week donating plasma. Twice a week for an hour. Been saving up and using that for alot of my big purchases. Otherwise I work for a general motors dealership in the parts department. And I do mechanical work on the side. I've rebuilt engines and transmissions and do all my own work. Except body work, never really got into that.
