3/4" Aluminum piping, currently supporting around 20lbs on the light rack.

I'm very interested in your set up. I have the Lumentek Pro 180 and was wondering if this could work for that fixture. What did you use to attach the light to the shelf?

Made of 2x2 red oak and bolted to the back and made cross braces for extra support and no sway also used 2 shelf supports at the 90 degree. Used 7 inch bolts that screw right into the top of the light so I can adjust the height.

How I hung my lights on my 40g long. It took me while to figure out this one lol

I like it!

DIY hanging

I use a sun winch hydroponics light winch ! It's awesome lifts 50lbs very small mounts easy ! I currently framed my t5 and LEDs in a box hung from the winch. The beauty of it is I can move the light out of the way to add corals do tank overhauls etc... And still have light source over the tank

Here's what I finally ended up with...

Are those garden hooks? They look great, I used garden hooks for mine but yours look better, and more sturdy. Plus I like the decor you've got going on in between them. Where did you get those if you don't mind me asking and how much were they?
