I have driven 10 to 12 hours one way. We are 600 miles north of Denver Colorado, in Billings, Montana. For some of the special corals that is where we have to go. Otherwise, 2 to 8 hours round trip is normal in Montana. We have one open local pet store with a reef department, one on appointment reef store, and one yet to be open reef store. There are so few of us in the state and we are spread out, so travelling is in order.

I live in San Antonio Texas and drive to Houston to get my corals. 3+ hours. Picked up my gold tourch there also. Pretty long drive but well worth the trip for me.

That IS quite a drive. I live about an hour from Houston and occasionally will have people meet half way i. n Conroe, Montgomery, or plantersville for coral and gear buying and trading

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
