love to hearI love road trips and love to see different LFS but 4 hours is my max
Where do you go? I am also in Arkansas.3 hours there and 3 hours back. Do it quite often actually to LFS and frag swaps. We don't have any frag swaps in Arkansas anymore.

love it word for word ,stay warm happy reefingI live in Alaska, I have several things that limit my options. 1 is, I live in Alaska so coral options are limited, much less quality and price. 2 is weather issues in the winter and tourists during the summer that can make driving to my local LFS something to be avoided (we call it white knuckle driving). 3, Local LFS is anything but local where I live. So the consensus here in Alaska is, we don’t drive for corals, we let UPS/Fedex deal with that and I do the online clicking and hope they deliver to Alaska while I cry about the shipping charges...I wish all online vendors had Amazon Prime =p
Thanks, Silent. I checked out the Richmond Reefers site a few months ago and it doesn't appear to be very active. I have looked at a couple of their stores on-line that look positive.
I live in the southern part of the state so it's a bit of a trip to World's under water. I have been to LRA in Little Rock and to his store out of his house before he opened LRA, have also been to The Fish Tank in Little Rock. Where is the event in Oklahoma? I went to Aquashella last year in Dallas and it was nice.Worlds Under Water in fayateville has some great stuff. Beginner stuff all the way to your bounce mushrooms. I stop by these guys often and they are pretty awesome. I can generally purchase stuff as I pass thru town and pick it up the next day as I return thru town.
In Little Rock, we now have live rock aquatics, opened just recently, which carries more of the brighter designer level stuff you see online similar to Worlds Under Water. They have just started so their stock is not as big as others yet but they are growing.
TL reefs in mountain home carries a good amount of SPS corals.
For frag swaps, I like to go to the corals for charity event in oklahoma in spring, assuming I have available time. Todd and them from cherry corals show up at this event. I'm a big fan of their aquaculture corals. Very clean corals and well acclimated to captivity.
I also like the St. Louis Frag swaps in spring and fall. They also have a few LFS in St. Louis as well. I think there are like 2 LFS in springfield,mo but I've only managed to make it to one. The other one is usually closed when I pass thru town.
I guess your not on the Eastern Shore of Maryland have a great Reef Aquarium hereMaybe 4-5 hours. That is how far reefapalooza is in New Jersey (in June) from me in Maryland.

Ok have you been to the Razorback Reef club meetings? They do a Coral frag every month for members and have Frag fests like 2-3 times a year. Most of the members are in the little rock, Cabot, Conway area. This is the one for this year. 4/4/20 Tulsa, Ok-Tornado Alley Frag Expo
