I got an order coming tomorrow Wednesday and I can't receive it. How long will coral last in the bag it's shipped in they shipped it out on Monday. I may be able to get someone to pick it up but then they would put all the coral in a big Tupperware with no circulation.

Green Birds Nest Coral
Australian Lord Acan Merry Christmas
Purple Favites Australlian Coral
Glove Polyps
Australian Dendrophyllia
Tiger Pistol Shrimp
Blue Ricordea Florida coral
Marsian Man Paly Coral
Purple Condy Anemone
Icey Hots Zoanthids Coral
TriColor Orange Ricordea Florida

I've got to ask the obvious.....why would you order corals knowing that you can't be home to accept them? I'm hoping this friend is available to at least plop them into a Tupperware.

They give you a day. Then they say it's been rescheduled for another day that you can't make it. You tell them what day is good and they send it for that day. We agreed upon shipping Wednesday to receive Thursday they decided to change that and ship Monday notifying me on Tuesday at 10pm.

You would need to be able to accept the shipment immediately, get it acclimating and into your aquarium We push the limits when shipping livestock, even when all goes as planned. With this delay, and your inability to be there when the animals arrive, may create a situation where your specimens perish.

wow.

So far everything went into a bucket w saltwater. Hopefully it's all alive. I won't find out until tomorrow morning.

I recently ordered a 200$ acro planna. It shipped on Monday for Tuesday delivery but got delayed in Memphis. I received the box Thursday at noon. It was bleached but alive. It has been 6 days now and it is still bleached but alive! I am holding out hope it will recover but its a long road.

There are way too many factors to determine. If the temp is OK and the corals were healthy they might be alive.

Doesn't sound like good communication. Hope all is well with the corals?

I'm still trying to figure out why a govt. employee can't call in sick :squigglemouth: I hope your corals make it!
