How long did your redsea tank last?

Not being a Red Sea owner, is the glass on the vertical panels bonded to the the base externally? The wife has a version of this on her tank. Scares the hell out of me. Why not use gravity assist? I’m a fully braced guy, after a disaster a long time ago when a braced tank went boobs up, after a brace snapped.

I am the 3rd owner of a redsea max c 250. Went through it, replaced pumps and cleaned it up when I got it somewhere around 4 years ago. Not sure when these things came out, but this thing has to be close to 10 years old. A few scratches on the glass, but no structural issues. Absolutely love the clean look with the hood and rounded corners. I really wish they would do a new, bigger version of this tank!
