How long do you run you MH's?????

Ive heard many different times, im confused on long long to run mine now! i run currently for 8 hours with atinics one hour b4 and one hour after,so my question to all u MH's users is HOW LONG DO YOU RUN YOURS?

Dont have mine setup yet but when i do i was thinking of 4 hrs 1.5 hour atinic, then 2 hrs. atinic and 10K (96W each), 4 hours 15K MH,10K,Atinic , then just step back down> If this is bad or good just let me now, ive never had MH before

well i have noticed great growth in the 8 hours i run mine BUT i also get more algea, i was just wondering what everyone else does and there results, o i run 10k refluxs

i think my algea might be not using ro/di or that i have 2x150 and 2x130 on a 55 gallon lol

before i switched to ro/di i had non stop algae problems now i dont have any

there not that bad just on the front glass i gotta clean it everyday with my mag float

I run mine for 11 hours a day and have for over a year. No actinics or other lighting.

Depends on the coral. My millis and montis grow pretty fast, and the chalices and people eaters grow slow LOL

i do run mine 8 hours total just not at the same time. i run one for 3 hours then both for 2 hours at the same time but them the first one turns off and leaves the last one on for another 3 hours for a total of 8 hours

9 hrs a day, no actinics. 150 watt 14k MH over 24 gallons. Good results thus far
