0, brook... 100 ******* dollars for a clown with brook that I was told was QTedI have a 125g with 13 fish i know that size matters but 13 fish and I can not get any phosphates or nitrates . They are at undetectable levels. I turn the lights off on my algea turf scubber for 3 days and made it to .03 phosphates. And my tank has stopped using alkalinity . I was dosing everyday now it just stays at 8.5 not that I'm upset about it . If I leave the light off on my ats the algea will die. It took so long to get it working now it works to good. Do I just feed more. I am at 3 cubes and 3 pinches of flake and a cube of freeze dried brine. 1 4 inch yt. 1 , 5 inch fox face 7 green chromis 1 neon goby 1 flame angle 2 ,3 inch clarkii clowns I feel like I am over stocked . 110 pounds of rock . Any suggestions!!!
Exactly. I have no aggression other than bickering here and there between my tangs and everyone has a place to sleep or get away too every night8 fish in a 90g. Everyone puts way too much emphasis on bioload rather than personal space for each fish. More fish = more rocks/caves.
And different type of fish require different sleeping arrangements.8 fish in a 90g. Everyone puts way too much emphasis on bioload rather than personal space for each fish. More fish = more rocks/caves.
Remove the algae turf scrubber. Your system does not need one yet. Run the skimmer because it is unlikely to be stripping NO3 or PO4. After that dose NO3 and PO4 as needed.I have a 125g with 13 fish i know that size matters but 13 fish and I can not get any phosphates or nitrates . They are at undetectable levels. You funny. Buried in the ground of course.LOLIn the tank...or buried in the yard?
Get a algea scubber or algea reactor . You will have coraline in no time at all!I got about 16 in my 120 gallon and I say I would over feed my tank. My nitrates and phosphate are on the high end but I have 25+ anemones and corals.
Even thinking about adding two pyramid butterflies soon.
They all react fine with the nitrates and phosphates high. Only issue is that I wish I had coralline algae growth but my parameters won't allow it.
Even with high nitrates and phosphate?Get a algea scubber or algea reactor . You will have coraline in no time at all!
