Plus most people are looking ONLY looking at supply cost and not combining it with delivery.

At least in my case supply & delivery is factored in at the kw rate listed. Bills from other cities which I lived (Chicagoland & Denver) listed it differently iirc.

I don't bother trying to figure out the cost for the tanks alone. Its a hobby and one has to pay to play. Its not like I would get rid of them to save a few dollars on the bill anyway. I will say we have 2 people living here now and the bill is considerably higher than it was with 5 people living here but I didn't have reef tanks back then .

Since a lot of people are talking bogus fees About $55 of my $410 bill are taxes, surcharges and franchise fee. I'd love to have some of these low usage bills people are showing. At least in summer months about 2400kwh is typical in my 2200sqft house. Most of that is probably AC followed by pool, water heater, appliances, home entertainment and aquariums. House has lots of lights but all LED. Last month I paid about $74 for the utility solar plan and got a credit for a whopping $78 LOL.

My total electric bill for the entire year, for my all electric house (3300 sqft) is $712. That also include charging an electric car.
I have 4 tanks a 125G, 40G, 37G and 20G.
My power bill is lower than my water bill.
I need to heat my house 4 month a year and cool it 4 month a year.
I have solar panels and I love them.

So you don't have an aquarium right now? Or did you downsize? May I also ask how you managed to ramp it up into the hundreds of dollars a month? As in, what were you running?
