90 gallon display, about 500 gph coming in from the sump, and up to 3000 gph via the Vortech MP-40w, but the Vortech is ran in Reef Crest mode, meaning it is not running at 100% all the time.

I reset the poll with a larger scale, and cleaned out the 5 votes that had been cast so far, so please re-vote.

Yeah but now I cant post to the poll since I already did... You messed it up

72 x right now. 75 gal. about 500 through return on sea swirl. vortech mp40 making waves on one side. vortech mp20 on reef crest on the other side.

I just got my new vortech's in the mail and I'll be changing the mp20 to an mp40.

also have an mp40 in a 30 breeder frag tank. works PERFECT!

Well I just bought a sure flow upgrade kit for my spare mj400 and I cant even run it in my 24g nano. Its advertised to do 1000+gph and I am pretty certain it is. The stock mj400 is only 106gph or something

I have a 320 gallon display and i have a 2000 gallon return, 5800 gallon closed loop and two mp40w vortechs so about 13,000 to 14,000 gph on 320 gallons so Im close to 40x.

You don't have any other powerheads? I thought that the mp40w was a little less flow than my corals like in a 75.

I have a 75 with 700 gph return, plus a korallia 3 behind the rocks and a korallia 5 on one side and a vortech MP40W on the other side set to reef crest mode. 700+850+1650+3000=6200 gph /75 = 43X turnover

Nope, no other power heads. I am thinking of adding another MP40 though, mostly due to the growth of the corals, they block a lot of the flow now that they are huge.

With the return pumps, powerheads and closed loop I have approx.10,600 gph of flow in my 240. And it's a soft coral tank:)

I have about 8000gph, but not all the time as the vortechs ramp up and down. Tank is a 90g. I'm thinking about turning the vortachs don as the chalices dont really appreciate it.

Vortech (2) - 6000gph
Maxi mod (1) - ~1500gph
Return - ~500gph

55g with mag5 return and 2x Koralia 4's, accounting for head loss on the mag, I come up with around 49x

6- tunze 6200's
2-waveboxe's
2- dart's on closed loop
1- hammerhead return-1/2 flow sent to frag tanks
tank is 700g- how much X flow is that :)
