So I was doing the math on the coral in my tank and I'm happy to say I haven't had to pay more than 30 for one coral. I know I don't have any crazy or rare corals but I see high prices all the time on the same stuff so here is what I have in my tank and thus is how much it was. Tell me what some of y'all pay for the same corals.

God you guys are lucky lol.
Having just stocked my 40 gal with coral...
My lfs got a shipment of asst. leftover Indo corals for $90 each, which was a price drop from the $125 they were charging for asst. Aussies.
8 head green frogspawn - $130
Large red Goniopora - $110
3 head torch - $90
3 head hammer - $90
Lobo brain - $90
Green leather - $90
Base rock zoa - $90
Chili coral - $60
Aussie Elegance, single head frag - $80
Acan lord frag - $40
Acan echinata frag - $20

Aussie Euphyllia's of the same size as the frogspawn are averaging $100 more, so they're going for $225 a piece.

Frags range from $10 - $30 each at one lfs, and $30, $50, $60, and $80 at others, depending on what you get and where they came from.

I'm in Alberta, Canada.

Wow looks like you get them for pretty cheap. I try and keep everything under 30 as well.

Green and yellow acan (3 heads) - 30
Duncan (3 heads) - 15
Assorted zoas (various numbers but less than 10 heads each) - ~15
Frogspawn (2 heads) - 25

So all in all not too bad but the local store is really hit or miss

My local bigals wanted 120 for a fist size bunch of pulsing zenia, i almost laughed in the guys face.
I don't think I would have been able to hold back the laugh.

I've been lucky most of my corals I purchased with multiple heads

The closest recognized store sells the least expensive corals for 5 dollars. However, before my bank account turned to shambles, I discovered this mini business hidden behind a clothing store which sells what online is 50 dollars for 5 or less.

Wow that is super expensive but those corals are a bit fancier! And your way up there away from all the warm oceans!
