I live in a huge city. There’s a 2 block street devoted to fish stores. And there are many stores on upper floors. There are actually more than 20 but the other ones sell mostly freshwater stuff. Probably between 40-50 stores in total.

I've got two in my town. One dying and the other very little coral but amazing fish

I don’t really have any LFS with coral so I was buying bigger orders online to get free shipping about once a month. After 8 months my 30g nano is pretty full so not buying much anymore

I burnt myself out buying to much to quick(4-10corals a week). Now I have no room and am increasingly picky. (1coral every month or so)

Tomorrow I should be getting a warpaint scoly my first scoly!

I am weird about buying coral. I love coral/fish and properly caring for them, but I have a very specific vision in mind for what I want the tank to look like. I don't necessarily nerd out about a rare coral or a cool type of new breed or mixture. I care about the the end goal of my tank as almost a living art piece. There are plenty of $10 zoa frags that I want just as much as a (now) rare torch.

I am sporadically buying as I see fit to cover areas on the rock in very specific ways. We will see how it all turns out lol.
