The clown fish in my avatar. One of my original fish when I first got into the hobby, about 1999. Always thought he was a tomato clown, but recently saw a picture of a cinnamon clown, maybe that is him. Regardless, think I will keep him. LOL

I had a watchman that made it to 8-10 on my care, and my mother still has the original clowns and hippo tang we got 12 years ago when we got in the hobby. Her husbandry is horrible so I have no idea how they last.
In my tanks I pretty much sold off my fish for newer, less common or otherwise more ornamental fish than I had before. Many of them are still alive in friends tanks.
I adopted a clarkii clown for three years that was allegedly 20 years old when I got him. He started beating on my tangs so I rehomed him (actually her)
Me either I thought it died I didn't see it for three years until I moved rock around to reduce tang aggression for new additions there he was happy and healthy as a horse. He was about 4.5" long!Wow I didn't know Watchmen get that old!

Sorry to hear this. I installed a whole house generator for this reason. I told the wife it was for the baseboard heaters and refrigerator but I know the real motivation.I had a dog-face puffer and a French Angel for over 11years. Unfortunately Sandy (storm) took them with the power outage.
Do you raise the babies?Mamma is the lower fish. She's roughly an inch bigger.
They're meaner than snot, so they have their own tank. (2x2x18).
Soon. Gathering supplies.Do you raise the babies?
