Had a Hippo tang for 7 years. And if you include Invert I have starlet coral now that is at 18+ years old plus now.

My tang is about 4 now I think
I had a Damsel live to 17 and a Marine Betta live to 10 then a big crash took them both about 3-4 years ago.
Unfortunately this is the only picture I have of them both together.

I had a Hawaiian Convict Tang for 15 years, then a glass heater broke and tripped the circuit breaker. They have to be 5 inches to collect in Hawaii because the are a 'food fish'.
That means it was at least 5 to 10 years old when it was collected. John Randall's PhD thesis was on Convict tangs and I recall he did have there growth rates. Can't remember the exact numbers but after it reached a certain age/length they would only grow 1 mm per month which means about 1/2 inch per year at the most under optimal conditions in the ocean.
Also lost 2 Bandit angelfish that I had for 8 and 9 years.
I have had many including Tangs, clowns and especially Rabbits live past 13 years. In my current system I have a one spot Rabbit I put in there 8.5 years ago when I built the system and a Sailfin Tang that is much younger than that. I've had anemones go over 20 years.
I have a yellow tang and three perculas 11 years old. A. akallopisos and a Gramma 10 years. They are all in best health exept for the Gramma that is old and fat and lazy. The clowns are not as aggresive as when they were young. Now they let the tang graze 2 inches from their eggs.
