I’d like to hook up my Spectrapure to this faucet. I can’t make the opening in it for an adapter which I have. What should I do?
Here’s the adapter that I’ve used:

Well,
I run my RO/DI unit off a faucet too. Not the most efficient way to run an RO/DI, but it works.

Unless anybody else has a better suggestion:

Need to take your fittings to Home Depot and buy a new faucet that will work.

You should be able to remove that screen section which should then give you access to the threads inside that faucet spout. Once you see these threads, you should be able to find an adapter possibly.

Good Call!!!

Didn't think  about pulling out the screen, hope ;Nailbiting there's some threads behind it :D

That’s the thing....I’ve struggled to removed the screen section but I only tried using my fingers, no tools.

Who's the faucet manufacturer? Might need a special tool to remove it but it has to be removable for cleaning. I'd check their website to see if you can find out how to remove it.

They use alittle blue key that fits in the grooves and turns it.
