How to hook up RODI to this?

I run one of these.

I have one and I’d still need a 13/16” male adapter to hook it up because that’s the faucet size.

Went to two plumbing stores this morning. Neither carries faucet adapters. They said there are too many manufacturers and their threadings can vary inspite of matching sizes. Ugh. It’s frsustrating.

That's bs BS I know one of them do. Just got one and I think it was lows that had the silver adapter one . Anyway just do a search on Google and you can get one on line .

I had similar issues. Couldn’t find a faucet adapter anywhere for my faucets except for my slop sink which would leak bad under pressure. I didn’t want to change any faucets in my house.

I ended up going this route. Tap right into faucet supply line. Works like a charm. No leaks.

Can you run both cold and hot water through it or just one cold/hot at a time?
I need to be able to run both to make the temperature warmer bc my cold water is way too cold to be running through RODI unit. It’s like in the 40s I think and most manufacturerss recommend 70-77 degrees for optimal performance.

It will not hurt your RO unit. They put that temp on there because that is the temp they use when calculating their rejection/production rates. Your unit will not produce water as quickly when it is cold but from what I've read it makes the RO membrane a little more efficient. In the summer time it takes me around 70 minutes to fill up my 5 gal jug. In the winter it takes around 90 minutes to fill the same jug because the production rate slows down because the water it a lot colder.

It’s taking about 3-3.5 hrs to fill up a 5 gallon jug right now. Water source PSI is 75 but RODI is operating at 40 psi. It’s weird and slow.
