I'll send you some green striped mushrooms....they killed my GSP...but then you have to deal with mushrooms.
If there's a coral I could glue right on top of it I'd be open to that option. I worry the GSP will just overtake it like the blob.

Wondering if there's a way to rid my tank of GSP. Manual removal without ruining my rocks would be a serious chore. This is a problem I let go too long. Looking for any solutions that are safe my other coral and don't involve having to ruin the bacteria on my rocks
My GSP is growing slowly over my rock. I made the mistake of a fresh (RODI) dip for other noxious critters and forgot about the GSP. Took weeks to recover and quite a bit died off. Slowly coming back

Brainstorm session was in hopes to prevent removal. A small piece I missed on previous removal got into the flow and made its way onto my main structure without my notice. By the time I did it was too late. Manual removal leaves too much behind and it just regrows.
Ok last ditch. Burn it. I pulled my gsp when I saw one time green speck tumbling across my sand bed. This post reminded me why I don’t have it. I like it but don’t want the problem.
Good luck wish I could help

Why its a great home for all kinds of invets. Micro stars, pods, tiny shrimp, and such.

Fenbendezole kills them. I dosed for digi to hydroids once and wiped them out. Unfortunately this stuff kills some other soft corals as well. It does have a long lasting impact not all good. Especially if like softies. You can search the threads on fenbendezole

Had some in a 12 gallon tank that I had a while back at first they look really cool growing on your sand then they start to grow on the glass and rock and you feel proud and want to keep them until they grow out of control although they eventually died off leaving purple sheets that were like rubber with sand in it and I had to scrape it off to remove it.I would never add them to a small tank!

Put it in my tank and it won’t be an issue
