So I thought this little claw was a pistol shrimp well it turns out it’s a fuzzy looking crab. I dipped the coral again and no luck. I removed the coral and placed it in a bucket. He’s taunting me. How do I get him evicted?

Physically grab it (with a glove or strong tongs) and remove it from the coral. That's about the only way I've been successful with crabs. You could also do a hyper-salinity dip, but that's stressful for everything, not just the crab.

Have you tried a crab trap? There are plenty of tutorials on line about how to make such a trap with a simple soda bottle. If manually grabbing the crab is not an option, a trap could work!

No but he stays in the coral and only pokes his little head or claw out so I’m not really sure if that’s gonna work. I think I’ll try a peroxide dip.

Same issue I had. Never left the hole, just waved his arms about trying to get my fish. about 4 seconds in peroxide made him fall right out. Of course it's not the most humane way to die, but it works.

Yes- bad news crab.
Try a homemade trap as shown below baited with shrimp. Last resort is to remove rock

I tried this and no luck but I hope it killed him. I drenched my coral in it.

I tried pouring hydrogen peroxide on all over the coral and it didn’t work.:expressionless-face: He’s still in the coral although I’m hoping he’s dead now.
Crabs like him have survived 100s of millions of years so I'm pretty sure he is just chuckling his little claws off now.

I know!:face-with-spiral-eyes: Next is a freshwater dip and hoping I don’t kill the coral/it isn’t already dead.
