How to treat ich

If you're moving the fish over to a quarantine you do nothing to the display tank. Once all fish are out of the dt and moved to a qt just let the dt run fishless for 76 days.
Can I keep my corals and sea urchin in the display tank while the fish are in qt? And another question I have a algae scrubber do I need to clean it completely off?

The display tank can continue to run like normal. It just has to run without fish for a minimum of 76 days to ensure that all traces of velvet, ich, and brook are starved out and dead.

I am curious if there are other folks experienced with the Polyp Labs stuff -- Aqua Medic I believe it is called. This is FOR ICH ONLY IME.

I have seen it run on two separate (large) tanks with Ich & tangs. It is "in tank" treatment, but must be dosed 2 X per day, 12 hours apart for... IIRC about 21 days.

While I would not attest that the Ich is gone, there has been no new mortality nor visual indications of Ich in either tank. While that is first hand knowledge, it is a pretty small sample size. Thus my question.

Hmmm. Sorry if this is a hijack of this thread @Calireefer92. I wish you well.
