Great timing as I am also in the market

I've been using a float gravity fed from a 5g bucket hung from the ceiling when going out of town for up to a week. But I have an 11 day trip next march and don't think that will cut it.

I was looking at the duetto on Amazon for $120 and pairing it with a 23 gallon tall garbage bin / water reservoir.

I’d go with a tunze nano. Reliable and you can usually find them used on eBay pretty cheap. They can only run for a maximum of 3 mins so even if the float somehow fails it won’t pump enough water in to kill your tank. I am actually running the nano on my 210g tank. I had problems with optical sensors in the past so I prefer the nano that doesn’t have one.

The pumps they use can run dry without damage.
