Par results will be interesting to see. If you have a trio of 190 watt fixtures you’re running at 40-50% that can be replaced by a single fixture running at 100% for the same wattage that would be a win. Gotta see that par coverage data though

You run a 250w bulb in a 16" reflector I'm thinking right. Which I feel would be a great comparison for this 18"x16" 170w LED panel.

Correct. Mind you. Not personally in the market. Just speaking in generalities. It looks like a great option. With much larger light footprint than a smaller puck style. Similar to the reef breeders. Spread out diodes. Likely need to be run at full strength to get sps par. Not like a radion run at 40% because the diodes are so dense.

I run lumenbright pendants. They’re physically a deeper reflective surface with steeper facets than say a lumenmax elite or a horticultural reflector that is more shallow with wider angle reflective facets. Mine spread quite poorly but can punch 500 par 36” away from the reflector with ease. They REALLY need to be mounted 15+” off the water to get any kind of reasonable spread and par. I had to go to 20,000k bulbs because the 14,000k or 10,000k whjch I prefer Will roast the acros at the top of the rocks with 800 par 24” away from the reflectors. Currently have them 12” above water. On the next tank I’ll have them 15-18” off the water which will even the spread a lot. Sorry to derail the thread.

Is there an App interface you are controlling them with? I'm more interested in the controlability. Meaning can you change spectrums, programs, etc. They look so much cleaner Above that tank.

Could you give a brief synopsis of what settings you were running with that par notation while using that combination of XR30's and AI 52, plus T5's? Ie. AB+ settings, intensity 100%, blue+ T5 bulb, etc?

Some are going that's not possible to be near the six fixture total, but if they're running AB+ type settings that cuts down on the wattage draw rather much, versus the 100% all channel rating they're sold under, or with the CC running near full rated wattage on both channels.
