I might try a different set of bearings. I am currently using the rubber sealed ones, I might order the all stainless ones like used from ecotech.

Box of goodies came today!

I order 4 of the 10w ip65 leds to use on a diy ATS I will starting to build soon. Also a bag of nylon screws and one of those new aquatic life macro water movers. I'm going to put this on my frag tank to see how it goes. If I like it I will probably put one on my 180 as well. I'll post a review of the macro after I install.

So I just spent the last 3 hours of my life giving my frag tank a good scrubbing.

I removed all racks and corals and gave the corals a good once over with removing any dead skeleton, vermitid snails and whatnot. I also added a tunze 6045 I had laying around since I removed the mp10's and put them on the 180. I'll post better pics tomorrow after everything has chilled out, all corals are really ticked right now lol.

Here are a couple pics of a couple chalices I have had for a while. The one receded quite a bit back during my "troubled" days but is recovering nicely.

And this one I'm really excited about, it's tough to see in the pic but the rim has some red and yellow in it along with the orange. I was thinking about calling this one the Toxic Creamsicle haha

*Initial review of leds for my ATS build*

Product name: IP65 10w 110v grow led spotlights

Purchase date: 4-4-16

Initial reaction review- 4 of 5 stars

Review- I purchased 4 of these for a ATS build that I will be starting shortly. A nice option with these lights are they come in different watt sizes (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) and colors (ww, cw, green, blue, yellow, red, rgb, grow lighting) obviously the larger the wattage the larger the housing size. I went with the plant grow light which has 8 red leds and 1 blue led. The Wavelengths are Red: 655~660nm, Blue:460nm. I will be using a 8x10 screen so 4 of these should cover the entire screen with relative ease only a 1 or 2 away from it.
Build quality out of the box seems solid, the fixtures are painted black and have a glass shield. The hinge that you can mount them with also feel secure and not flimsy. I've seen some of these lights from other sources that don't come with a 3 prong plug but these came with them. I plugged them all in and held them to shine against my wall and they give pretty good coverage overall. From my initial impression I'm glad I got these, esp for the price. I will do an update review after I have them installed and running long term.
