I know right!!?? Ugh it's frustrating but what can you do besides fight thru. It's like the dosing pump sensed the CaRX was sitting below it to replace it and just ended it's own life haha

So the reactor is finally full of media(TLF Reborn) and I will be getting it wet in the next day or 2. I got a quiet one 1200 (317gph) pump for the feed. A lot of flow I know, but the pump is adjustable to lower the flow rate. I am hoping to get this online by the end of the week. Updates to follow.

sorry for the issues, but lovin the positive attitude!

Put in some work tonight on the tank. Pulled all the rock out on the right side of the tank, chiseled off all the dead corals and gave the rocksame a quick scrub with a stiff bristle brush. Then I did a little scaping (pics tomorrow, water is a little cloudy)

I also did a 30 gallon water change to help with the changes I made with the rocks.

I noticed one of my mp40's was a little loud so I figured I'd clean those too. As I was pulling out the wetsidesI said to myself, "man, it's going on 4 years and I haven't had to do a thing to these things besides clean them. I love these things"
I open them up to clean and I find this:

D'oh!

Oh well what can you do. I'll just order another I say. Go online and can't find it. All I find is the new qd replacement wetside upgrades, argh! Anyone know where I can find the magnet or should I just upgrade the whole thing?

So some pretty decent news here. I am in the process of starting to build a new sump for my 180. When @TaylorPilot of exotic marine systems contacted me about a new baffle system to be used with a 40b and wanted me to try out the prototype. It should be shipped to me tomorrow and I can start construction hopefully this week. I for one am excited to give this a go. Here are some pics of the kit after being cut

It has 3 4" filter sock holders and a adjustable skimmer section.

Yea I was thinking the same. Had a visit with @mdbannister today we kind of came to the same conclusion

Lucky!!! Very curious to hear how it is. Been looking at these since he posted the 20 long version. Thinking about using a 40b and this kit for the new frag system I'm planning. Keep us posted!
