I’M BACK IN THE GAME

I see now.

So couldn't you cut a rectangle of acrylic to fit inside the overflow box? Then drill a hole on both ends to match up with the slots in the overflow. And a couple plastic nut and bolt. Then you could adjust the height anywhere you want it. Well up to the actual height of the box inside the tank anyway.

Like this, acrylic panel on inside, the green would be plastic bolts to keep it in place...

Thanks for the idea. I might have to give something like that a try. Any idea where to get those plastic bolts?

Thanks again for the idea Trigg. It actually worked perfectly and now my water level is just a hair under the top rim.

Just a little update here. This is the corals that I bought at FFM this year. Nothing too fancy but it was a good start. I also bought a pair of frostbite or flurry clowns I’m not sure which ones they are because there was both types in the tank, lol

Today with the snow storm I didn’t have work so my wife, my daughter, and myself took a trip to Aqua Dreams in Feeding Hills, MA and came home with some very nice goodies. Got a warpaint scoly, 4 bangai cardinals, a super sexy rainbow bta, and a small zebra eel because my daughter wouldn’t leave me alone about it, lol. What an incredible store Aqua Dreams is. Tons of beautiful corals from frags to colonies and they have very good prices too. Definitely worth the trip

Like that nem Bob. Nice scores. . Cant say I know much about eels but its cool looking.
Thanks! I’m not much of an eel guy either but my daughter loves them and wouldn’t stop hounding me when we were at the store, lol. Supposedly this kind of eel does well in a community tank other than with inverts. I guess time will tell.
