No you plug the dosers into the 120VAC plugs on the power bar and chose either socket 4 or socket 8.

Neptune EB8 Energy Bar - I have two outlets stuck in the ON position

I have a Neptune EB8 Energy Bar (that are probably 8-10yrs old) where outlet #s 2 & 3 are stuck in the ON position. Meaning any attempt to control them by turning them OFF via Apex, fails. They just stay ON if the slider in Apex is slid to OFF Easy fix? I scoured YouTube for a DIY vid and...

The EB832 does not have any TRIAC outlets. 4 and 8 are identical to all of the others.

I would say then that this is BRS's way of saying that they don't recommend the EB832.

I can see why they say this, the inrush current on an inductor winding can be enough to nuke a transistor.

I don’t know. I think BRS does recommend the B832 because that’s all they sell. Maybe that description for the doser pumps were for the older APEX models?

I believe that these are correct presumptions. Don't worry about the dosers and plugs. What else can a controller do to help you?
