I’m considering an APEX

“Each EnergyBar 832 also has two 24VDC accessory ports that can power small pumps, solenoids, fans and more, while the built-in 100W DC power supply lets you control up to 3 1Link accessories like the WAV circulation pumps, and DOS fluid metering system without the need for any additional power supplies or consuming additional outlets.”

So I just plug the BRS pumps into the 100W?

@Miami Reef & @Sean Clark

Plug your dosers into 4 of 8.

The EB832 does not have any TRIAC outlets. 4 and 8 are identical to all of the others.

I would say then that this is BRS's way of saying that they don't recommend the EB832.

I can see why they say this, the inrush current on an inductor winding can be enough to nuke a transistor.

I don’t know. I think BRS does recommend the B832 because that’s all they sell. Maybe that description for the doser pumps were for the older APEX models?

I believe that these are correct presumptions. Don't worry about the dosers and plugs. What else can a controller do to help you?

“The Neptune ApexEL comes with one EnergyBar 832 now has eight individual, 7 amp relayed outlets letting you use any outlet for any device.”

Thanks buddy!

As of right now, I will await my order. :)
