I am a Beginner would like some coral ideas

Hello i a am a fresh water aquarist but I'm looking to go towards saltwater as well.I would like to do a Nano reef and have two Wyoming whites but I only have my heart set on one coral which is the cornbred god of war paly.I also think I would like some blastomusa (sorry for improper spelling I couldn't get the voice thing to work),but I would also like a peaceful,hardy coral that has losts of movement without it being a invasive species such as Xenia (again sorry for any spelling error)

So to sum up what I just said is I am wanting to try saltwater and have a few different corals I like but I would like some recommendations

Also on a separate note would two Wyoming white designer clowns be ok in a ten gallon tank with frequent 15 present pwc's with rodi water

The toadstool coral is a good, non-invasive beginner coral. And yes, two clownfish would be OK in a 10 gallon. You may want to consider starting out with some regular clownfish before making the investment in some Wyomings but they have the same care requirements. The corals you're looking at will be good as long as you properly cycle your tank, keep up on your weekly water changes, and have a strong light for photosynthesis.

+1 to @SDReefer I would advise getting at least a 15g for a pair of wyomings. I have 2 in my 30g and they're doing great! Other beginner corals include: cabbages, any kind of leather coral, zoanthids/ palys, or if you want to get try something a step further you could try any hammer/ frogspawn/ torch coral

As a beginner, you want to start out with the biggest tank you can get. It'll be easier in the long run in terms of stability and water quality.

Personally I am experienced in freshwater so it's just the more nit picky things I'm new to.I do not have the space for a large tank i only have space for a smaller tank my 67 is freshwater and I don't have space for anything large I am used to the general things to do and cycling my tanks

That's the only thing I can afford as well with the setup I'm looking at now for a ten gallon is close to $600 everything for it included no second hand I have been doing freshwater for about four years now

On the website I plan on getting the clowns from is selling them for a very good price barely more than a usual clown slightly more than 5 dollars

$600 for tank equipment livestock etc all are for good equipment 4.5 star stuff mostly

Toadstools can get big, but they take a long time to grow. You can frag if it gets big, but they don't grow that fast.

Ok thanks I have been interested in them for about a month ago when I got this area and started reading about saltwater tanks I have quite a few questions about how I can run my tank and lighting which is the only item I haven't chosen for my tank yet

Would leds be an ok type of lightning to get good coloration and growth.
what is a good rule of thumb for lighting
Also is a cleanup crew a necessityfor a tank or can I just rely on water changes

You need to choose LEDs that support coral growth, not just any regular LEDs; you'll want to do a lot of research before choosing a light. As for a clean up crew, all you need for a ten gallon is probably 2 hermit crabs and a snail.

For cleanup crew on a 10g, you should do something like ~3 small hermits, and 5 small snails. I'd do 2 red legs 1 blue leg and 2 cerith snails, 1 margarita, and 2 nerites

for LED lighting, make sure it's a fixture that holds full 1W LEDS instead of .5 watts

Thanks this is uncharted territory for me and I would be kind of lost and with the two clownfish this won't cause any issues with my ammonia nitrates nitrite having that many small animals plus the clowns

I would do a 40 gallon breeder to start with perfect beginner tank. I started with a 29 gallon tank for about a year until I came across a 40b & loved the dimensions. I built a stand for it (so my girl wouldn't be mad about spending more $). Already had a HOB refugium/skimmer and off I am, going on 3 years in my saltwater journey

I have found a lighting system that seems good it's an led but the cost is ridiculously high around $250 but I can control the things like color and intensity through my phone. Are the controllers that controls all of the equipment worth it.if I did all of this it would be about $1100 ,and I'm not sure I'm willing to cough up that much money for a ten gallon.
