I.D. For this stubborn pest ?

I just dont like the skimmer I think is too small, by the look of it it seems you have a good color output as far as bacterial are concerned, I would like to see what others think about changing the skimmer. Before you do any changes.

Right not many people pitching in though as far as there thoughts ! I really at this point have no funds for new skimmer I even have a brand new bubble blaster pump I have never used as a back up suppose I could maybe sell it but... Ya know how that goes then I would have no skimmer while I waited for new one ! At this point for now I'm stuck with this skimmer I think

Ok ok …….. lets something simple with no $$$ impact, get some distilled vinegar and mix 3 parts vinegar to 1 part table sugar, dose 5 mlg per day for about 5 days to see if it does anything as far as improving skimming. I would rally like to start zeo vit but that’s a $ 30 cost.

From what I have read of Troy lee's thread the worst that can happen is nothing is effected by h202 if the dosage is fallowed correctly ! H202 has been on my mind 4 sure

This was taken from what used to be my fuge once upon a time it was lush macro now this snotty crap with other algaes in the mix

If you really want it gone quick, just fire about 3 scopas tangs in there and they will do the trick. Won't actually fix the problem, but will give your corals some relief from the algae. You can always catch them and sell them later!

I have a purple and a scopas they r very carefull what they pick at ! Also a pacific tang but he eats more meaty food! I'm trying to fix the problem my tank never used to look like this at one point it was very nice for a long. Period of time and then things went down hill one thing after another it seemed

I don't think my tank has HA i think it is something else ! But good point on changing the Sump bulbs they r probably due

Oh wow. The scopas I have powered through our algae outbreak! I thought it looked like the same algae, but I guess it's different! Good luck in finding out the problem.
