So this is a terrible pic..haha but i haven't seen any negative effects at all from mine..did you just trim your cheato by chance? Im wondering if it wasn't growing under that and its darkening up now that the light is hitting it?

Is it that purple sort of blob? maybe im blind. But no I havent trimmed my chaeto, just let the bush grow, lol... It has moved to the side.

Yep thats it haha..and if its moved and is exposed to light now thats probably what it is..if you're too worried id say just get it out, but thats what it looks like to me. I personally would just keep an eye on it

Yeah, its in my sump so it won't do any damage. Ill keep an eye out and get a dead bolt on my bedroom door just incase it turns out to want to murder me in my sleep...

I think the dead bolt will only slow you down from getting out..looks like that thing can crawl under the door...good luck..lol
