I've been trying to keep waste down but this cyno is a pain in the butt. Nitrate levels are within acceptable range but cyno won't go away. Any critters out there I can get that like this stuff. Current salinity is 1.026, 100 gallon tank, fish: 1 volitan lionfish, 1 dog face puffer, 5 mono fish.

I'm thinking of adding a fox face rabbit and a porcupine puffer but I don't want to feed additional fish right now and increase waste. I heard the black spine urchin mast help? Any ideas?

I'm not sure about compatibility with what you have, but my diamond goby has always made short work of it... mostly just covering it up.

Don't think you will find much that will dine on cyno, finding something to stir the sand bed will help.. Yours doesn't look bad just keep nutrients down as you are doing, siphon all you can from your DT and go lights out for a few days it should go away.

Some snails will eat it but your best bet is to just siphon it out. I use a piece of RO tubing to suck it out without taking too much water out

My foxface doesn't touch it. Snails do, but not enough to really help much. My goby also keeps it from being visible in the sandbed, but can't do anything to help me on the rocks. Manual removal and nutrient control are your best options, unless you want to start dosing carbon. I've got a pretty bad case right now, and I may start dosing soon.

It is better / faster to find the source of the issue than something that will eat that stuff.

Nothing will eat it. Cyanobacteria once established doesn't need much to survive and stay bonded.
Manual removal is a good idea. Took me 5 months to rid of it all.

Nothing will eat it. It is a bacterial growth. Do water changes to dilute to nutrients in the tank. Feed less and add more flow

I been fighting it for two months i got Seachem Aquavitro Phosfiltrum n change the on the 4 day new media two weeks to this day is all gone

My seahare ate it, but it was just a temp fix. I went black out and no food for 48 hours to completely rid it.

Your tank with those fish I wouldn't get anything to eat it

Manual removal try keeping the lights off for a couple days followed by a 30-40% wc

My blue-legged hermits and scarlet hermits both eat it. I have two places in in my tank that are prone to cyano and I just drop a couple of them on it and they go to town. They won't completely eradicate it because there are other factors at play (in my case it's lack of flow), but they can easily keep a small problems spot under control.

Op has larger predatory fish hermits wouldn't last long enough to do much

Good point. Didn't read the post closely enough. Those puffers would make quick work of the hermits!

I used chemi-clean from my LFS Store. $20 and 48 hours later, no cyno.
