I need to replace my main pump....what brand do you recommend?

Hey guys! So I've become curious about this Jabeo pump you guys are talking about. With it being a DC pump, does it have an AC to DC adapter, or do I need to supply my own power source? Googling this pump doesn't give me much info about it.

Guess I can't edit a post. So I ended up finding more pictures on some other posts on the web, looks like it does come with an AC-DC adapter. You can correct me if I am wrong.

You could also go with the speed wave dc pump. I believe it's the same pump as the diablo but I could be wrong

Yes, it comes with one...is the same size as a metal halide ballast so it needs to go somewhere dry and out of the inside of the stand...
I have a speedwave and I think it's more closely related to jebao that diablo...

I went with the Ehiem 1262. I haven't installed it yet, but I will one day this week. I'm sure it will be quieter than the Danner Supreme 18. I'm not knocking the Danner...they are awesome pumps, I just didn't know what I was doing when I bought it 6 years ago, and need a different type for my application. Thanks everyone for your input!

I have installed it and I love it. It is a lot quieter and stronger than the Mag 18. It turns on and off flawlessly, which was a problem for the Mag.

Eheim 1062 is a quality pump, and you can't go wrong with that choice, if it is appropriately sized for your tank. I replaced a mag pump with an eheim and wouldn't think if going back!!

Another pump I like and have used is the water blaster pumps for reef octopus.

Good choice on the Eheim 1262.
I've been using one on my 240 for about 4 years and it was 3 years old when I got it. I did replace the impeller when I got it.
