Just spent over 400 bucks on this UV and it’s missing the reducers to go from 2” to 3/4” . Aqua UVs response? “Oh sorry things happen.” Returning to BRS tonight!!! What other UV options are there?!?

Already on my way to the LFS to get a new unit . Same one 25 watt classic . Going to return this one to BRS. Think I should go to 57 watt for a 120 gallon tank? Or just stick with the 25?

I run a 57 watt, but be aware it can add almost 2 degrees to the tank.

No reason not to have the bigger one IMO. As previously mentioned just watch the added heat.

I wouldn't return it just because something was missing from the box - too much work for me.

These things happen.

Let them do the work to fix it.

Things happen. Maybe the mechanic will forget to tighten bolts on caliper. Oh well things happen to the family of the dead driver. How about everyone just try a little bit and not pay for oh well things happen?
Not picking on you but be part of being better and not who cares

Too late already have the replacement. They aren’t charging shipping on the return and I want it running tonight

When I pay $450 dollars for some glorified plumbing with a light bulb I would hope all the parts are in the box . Quality control non existent at Aqua UV apparently. End of rant. Until this one breaks lol

It’s most things anymore unfortunately. We have to spend time and more money for others mess ups after we already paid a small fortune.

I had aqua UV and changed to Lifeguard and the Lifeguard is a much nicer unit.

If you're running a UV in the car, you'll die of sunburn before the caliper falls off

This is the best one out there but others are:
Ice Cap
Lifeguard - very good

Avoid corallife and aquatop
