I need two more fish for my Reefer 170, help!

this is too funny, i've the same tank, running for 3-4 months and have the same exact fish! My next one will be orchid dottyback. It's still in quarantine and i'm hoping that it won't bother my slight larger firefish.
I'm thinking of getting one chromis viridis next and probably a mandarin (trained to take frozen) in the future.

Chalk Bass = awesome but if you want something out and about I would get some Chromis in addition to your pick of the Royal or Black Cap

Pictus Blenny adds a lot of character and is active and interactive.
I have the same tank and I'm also housing a leopard wrasse for the last couple of months and it seems to be doing very well. If it grows too big I will either upgrade tanks or exchange him for something else.

Swissguards are rare? That’s sad to me. They’re a beautiful species that should be equally popular as the Royal Gramma.
Really? Biased on cost and availability I would think they are rarer and not seen in every other tank?? I guess you could really step it up and get a candy basslet

they are regularly available on divers den, both the swales and non-swales variety. They are just expensive.

It's 34 gallons and it's well past cycling, it's been up and running like a champ for 4 or 5 months.

I totally agree about the goby/pistol shrimp combination, very entertaining, but I already have a Yellow Watchman Goby (YWG) in there. I like the Royal Gramma, I just can't figure out a good fish to go along with it. Something that's active and won't hide all day.

So it's Royal Gramma or Black Capped Basslet and _______________??
Gramma will hide alot.
