I have been thoroughly enjoying 'lurking' reef2reef especially the 'Bubble Eel' thread! Then I read @Seawitch article on why I should join, so I did!

I have a 8 week old tank 20 long.

Koralia Nano 425
Eheim 100 watt
AI prime hd on 12 inch gooseneck
25 pounds base rock
20 pounds of Oolite
Solid glass pane as lid
Salifert Nh3, No2, No3
Kent's salt
weekly 10 - 25% water change
RODI buddy

Testing:

0's for Nh3, No2, No3

Livestock:
1 Scarlett Hermit
2 Astraea snails
1 tiger conch
2 juvenile regular Ocellaris clownfish

Stage of progression of tank:
Hair algae has bloomed and is now dying off
Chaeto is growing crazy: removed tennis ball sized wad on Monday

Not a current one. These things, 'books', have become largely extinct in this hobby. It would seem. Unfortunately.

However you could consider the three massive volumes of Delbeek and Sprung's The Reef Aquarium.
Although some of it is out of date, much is still relevant and it will definitely keep you busy reading for a while.

First of all, welcome to r2r! you'll be glad you joined in on the conversation. I have a 20L with an AC70 as well great tank to start with.

I have just about every book on reef keeping, even the outdated ones from the 80's. There is still useful info in most of them. It's also interesting to see how things have changed over the years. "The New Marine Aquarium" by Micheal Paletta is one that pops to mind as especially useful when I was starting my first tank. Highly recommend, but it isn't in depth, mostly basic information. Available on amazon used for very cheap.
