Had a great phone interview today for a permanent position and looks like I found a temp nursing job that I might get to start next week that should hopefully last till I *fingers crossed* get hired at the full time position. I really really hope I get the permanent position. I applied for it months ago and it’s a dream job.


So I scraped as much as I could off a zoa frag and dipped it in hydrogen peroxide. It didn’t do anything at all.
Dosed 8 ml h202 to the tank last night. Filter socks washed and changed today. Ordered 24 watt mean green uv units off amazon (cause my amazon credit card is all the cash I have for now). Things are looking up.

I’ll know more when the test kit and scope come in tomorrow. I hope it’s not Dinos and just some mean aggressive brown hair algae.

I like UV Sterilizers in a reeftank. It is an indiscriminate process: Algae spores, bacteria, and parasites. Not sure about virus or fungus.

I’m scared that I would end up killing the snails and macros. I love all life and feel bad when things die. Right now I feel like my tank needs icu treatment so it doesn’t turn into a death tank from everything I’ve read so far. I really appreciate your offer though.
