Are these things moving?

Mostly no. But one circular cell appeared to spin and it moved and I couldn’t find it again. Maybe an artifact? But I could swear I saw it

Possibly some teardrop swimmers, but they were probably critters

Here is an experiment u can do.
Take a sample of the algae with some water sample in a cup.
Shake the water till all algae break down and possibly disappear in the water column.
Leave the cup outside under the sun for an hour.
If its dino, when you shake the water it will disappear then after an hours or so all algae will form back together in one mass. If diatom it will stay scattered in the water.

I ended up with about 100 small clumps and some were growing off the side of the container. I used a 5 gallon container to do this.

I saw some movement but not tons. Just soft movement for the most part. Let me try again and I’ll look for movement

I’ve been staring for so long at that slide with the one drop of water lol
Two circular things clearing moving and zipping around. Could see them on three and 600, but lost them at 1200x.

I’ll try the cup. I have several types of algae. A few small spots of cyano and something lime green, normal diatoms, brown hair stuff and green film algae.
I need a break for a little. Something in my aquarium gives me allergies when I mess with it a lot. Thank you so much for all the help. I’ll be back on soon.
