I use our well water for all the freshwater aquariums and pond just rodi for the salt tanks. Phosphates are a little high in the well water which is why we use rodi for the reef, but i didn't think phosphate was a problem for fish.

Thanks guys. I was really hoping he would pull through. I guess i have the meds now on hand if i need them in future. So glad i put him in quarantine. It was awful enough watching him fight it. I can't imagine if all my fish got it.
