During the night, the female clown has taken a breathtaking turn for the worst. I don't suspect her to survive the day.

I wonder if a 5 minute freshwater dip might be something to try? If it is a protozoan, it may buy you some time. It won't cure the fish, and if the fish is really weak, it will hasten its demise, but at this point, I don't see any other otion. Have you ever done a FW dip?
